Game of Thrones Seasons Posters
Slowly but surely, the HBO’s incredible marketing machine knows how to make us stay on our toes, eagerly waiting to see the next episodes in Game of Thrones’ last season. With a small drop of information every few months, then weeks, then days, they made us almost forget it has been 571 days since the episode 7 in season 7, “The Dragon and the Wolf” was aired. Almost.
Everything the show did so far was in an incredible scale, which easily explain the enormous budget for each episode. From the Game of Thrones filming location, cast, effects and artwork. Now, 24 days before the first episode of season 8, they release the season 8 artwork poster. Each one of the season posters had a key motif. Surprisingly, for a show that is all about the Iron Throne, this is only the second season that features the Iron Throne on its poster. The first time was on season 1. This time, it’s without someone sitting on it but with a pair of dragon eyes looking at you.
Here are the previous Game of Thrones season artwork posters. Remember, Winter is coming!
