Game of Thrones Audiobooks
The books in the book series “A Song of Ice and Fire” are not easy books to read. Each book in the series is around 1,000 pages (one of them is even more than that). Therefore, reading them might not be easy for everyone. Luckily, we have the Game of Thrones audiobooks.
The Game of Thrones audiobooks are unabridged and narrated by the dramatic voice of Roy Dotrice. They are available for each one of the “A Song of Ice and Fire” books that were released. Meaning, there are 5 audiobooks for the physical books. Unfortunately, Roy Dotrice passed away in 2017 so the rest of the books in the series: book 6: “The Winds of Winter” and book 7: “A Dream of Spring”, will be read by someone else.
Listening to the Game of Thrones audiobooks will probably take less time than reading the books for most people. However, you shouldn’t be confused it will be a quick task. Given the extremely long length of the books, the audiobooks are also long. The length of the Game of Thrones audiobooks is between 33 to 48 (!) hours. Listening to the 5 five Game of Thrones audiobooks will take you 200 (!!!) hours. That’s more than a week of net listening!
