Game of Thrones Season 8 Episodes

We already knew for a long time that the last season for Game of Thrones will be short and will have only 6 episodes. This was taken with some disappointment by the fans to say the least. However, on mid November there were some exciting news for Game of Thrones fans. David Nutter, which directed some of the previous Game of Thrones episodes, was interviewed by reddit. In that interview, David Nutter said that all of the six episodes in season 8 will be longer than an hour.

For those who don’t know the name, we can easily remind you that David Nutter was the director of episode 9 of season 3. The episode is formally called “The Rains of Castamere” by more commonly known as “The Red Wedding” episode. This episode is one of the most dramatic episodes of the TV series.

Earlier this week we surprisingly learned that the first two episodes of season 8 will be actually shorter than an hour. While this was disappointing, today HBO confirmed the run time of  all six episodes of season 8. We don’t know any of the names yet but here is the list of episodes of season 8, their air date and run time.
